Handcrafted in solid .925 sterling silver, these earrings are inspired by Och-Kan, the sacred serpent of Kalak’mul and one of the most revered beings in Mayan cosmology. Worn close to the ears, they echo the role of the serpent as a messenger between realms, a conduit through which ancestors and gods spoke during sacred rites.
In ancient bloodletting ceremonies, Mayan elites would call upon the Vision Serpent to pierce the veil between the physical and the spiritual. These earrings channel that legacy, not as ornaments, but as symbols of perception, ancestral memory, and spiritual clarity.
