Handcrafted in solid .925 sterling silver, this pendant draws from the ancestral might of the Aztec/Mexica, a civilization that saw in the scorpion (Colotl) not only danger, but sacred transformation.
Linked to Huehueteotl, the god of fire, and Mictlantecuhtli, lord of the underworld, the scorpion symbolized the dance between creation and decay. Its presence in the night sky, as Scorpius, was more than celestial; it was an omen, a guardian, a reminder of the duality between life and death, pain and rebirth.
