A Symbol of Cycles. A Tribute to the Divine Order.
Inspired by the refined astronomical knowledge of the Maya, this bracelet centers a representation of the Calendar Round, the system that united the 260-day Tzolk’in and the 365-day Haab’ to mark the recurring cycles of time used throughout Mesoamerica. More than a tool of chronology, these cycles reflected the rhythmic balance between the human world, nature, and the sacred.
Flanking the central motif, two Feathered Serpents evoke Kukulkan, the Maya manifestation of the ancient Mesoamerican “Feathered Serpent” deity known across cultures for symbolizing wind, movement, renewal, and the connection between earth and sky. Serpents with feathered attributes appear throughout Maya architecture and iconography, especially in sites such as Chichén Itzá, where descending serpent-shadow effects mark solar events with extraordinary precision.
Handwoven and secured with a polished .925 sterling silver clasp, the piece embodies continuity, protection, and the harmony of cyclical time. The twin serpents stand as guardians of order and transformation, guiding the wearer toward clarity, purpose, and alignment with the ancient rhythms that shaped Maya cosmology.
