This ring is inspired by the Legend of The Volcanoes. According to Aztec legend, Iztaccíhuatl, a princess, and Popocatépetl, a warrior, were deeply in love. Their story ended in sorrow as Iztaccíhuatl was falsely told of Popocatépetl's demise in war. Overcome by grief, she died of a broken heart, and upon Popocatépetl's return, finding his beloved deceased, he carried her to the mountains, hoping the cold would wake her. The gods, moved by their story, turned them into mountains to be together forever, with Popocatépetl watching over his princess as an eternal flame of love.
