Handmade Boho Labradorite Silver Ring - Ancestral Abundance
• Material: .925 Sterling Silver and Labradorite Stone
This ring draws inspiration from the enchanting tale of Tunich Ya'xkab, the name given by the Mayans to the labradorite stone. Despite the nearest labradorite deposits being located in the far reaches of Rarámuri land in Chihuahua, this captivating stone made its way to the ancient cities of Chichen Itza and Mayapan. The Mayans, observing the stone's iridescent beauty, attributed it to Chaac, the deity of water and rain. Known as Tlaloc in Aztec culture, Chaac was revered as a harbinger of abundance and good fortune.
