Inspirado en la abeja melipona, una especie sin aguijón nativa de la Península de Yucatán y venerada por los mayas durante siglos, este colgante rinde homenaje a la silenciosa labor de la naturaleza y la sabiduría sagrada que porta.
Conocida como Xunán Kab,“La Honorable Abeja Dama”; esta abeja era más que una polinizadora. Era una sanadora, un símbolo de comunidad y una mensajera espiritual. La miel de la melipona se consideraba medicinal y sagrada, y se utilizaba en ceremonias, ofrendas y ritos de renovación. Tan importantes eran estas abejas que los antiguos mayas celebraban hasta seis rituales al año en su nombre.
Esta pieza no es solo un homenaje a la biodiversidad, sino un símbolo del poder femenino, la sanación ancestral y la armonía entre la vida humana y los ciclos sagrados de la naturaleza.
