Handcrafted in solid 925 Sterling Silver, this pendant honors Xólotl, the Aztec God of The Night, twin of Quetzalcóatl. In the sacred myth, as the gods prepared to sacrifice themselves to bring light to the world, Xólotl resisted. Fleeing his fate, he transformed into various forms, finally becoming an axolotl; a creature suspended in water, neither here nor gone, a being of stillness between worlds.
This necklace captures that moment not as weakness, but as a profound assertion of identity. In choosing transformation over disappearance, Xólotl becomes a symbol of self-preservation, sacred resistance, and the courage to honor one’s own path.
