Inspired by the legend of Our Lady of Guadalupe. According to Mexican Catholic tradition, in 1531, the Virgin Mary appeared to an indigenous man named Juan Diego on the hill of Tepeyac, near Mexico City, and instructed him to ask the bishop to build a church in her honor on that site. When Juan Diego reported this to the bishop, he was asked for a sign.
